Venice

Venice is one of the most unique cities I’ve ever visited. Built on more than 100 small islands and connected by countless canals and bridges, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. Since cars aren’t allowed in the historic center, we traveled to Venice by boat, which made arriving in the city even more special.

One of the highlights of my trip was taking a traditional gondola ride through the narrow canals. It was the perfect way to experience Venice from the water and admire the beautiful historic buildings from a different perspective.

While exploring the city, I loved wandering through the charming streets, crossing the many picturesque bridges, and discovering small local shops. One of my favorite stops was a traditional mask shop, where I admired the famous handcrafted Venetian masks. These masks are an important part of Venice’s history and make a unique souvenir to take home.

Of course, I also visited the famous St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. Surrounded by impressive architecture, cafés, and lively crowds, it’s the perfect place to relax and soak up the atmosphere.

Venice is a city unlike any other. From its peaceful canals and iconic gondolas to its beautiful bridges and rich history, every corner offers something special. It’s a destination that truly deserves a place on everyone’s travel bucket list.
